north borders

Most of friends and all of my flat mates have left leeds for the summer for their home towns which means my nights now involve copius amounts of watching films on my laptop by myself and drinking milk from the carton. Most of the time i am like a dog in the way that i usually hate being left alone and will generally trail my flat mates from room to room begging them to entertain me, but lately I've been enjoying my time alone in the flat and going out and doing things by myself. There is some beautiful countryside right by my house and the past few evenings i have been exploring the woods and fields and flexing my photography muscles. Tomorrow I am going to try and take out some of my drawing tools and attempt to sketch out some trees and flowers. I will most probably try and pass of my creations as 'abstract' like i normally do in order to a)appear clever and knowledgable on art fings and b)to disguise the fact i really can't draw for shit.

waking up without you

The internet feels like a cosy place at the minute, this is mostly because i have a lot of work to do and I feel better being chained to my laptop at least pretending to do work rather than drinking wine and playing rummy til four in the morning like i have been doing. I like the fact that I can share my, somewhat depressing, feelings on twitter, my poor attempts at photography on flickr and my sporadic, stupid, mostly ridiculous thoughts on this blog. I can tell these places things i wouldn't share with some 3D people or my facebook, like for example the fact that last week i drunk two bottles of wine and cried whilst singing the power of love (this song once filled me with happy belly feelings and now all i feel is sadness and bitterness when i listen to it) and then attempted to drunk call my ex before having my phone snatched away from me. You may ask me 'are you still not over this breakup yet tilly?'..the short answer is no i am not. It is poo and i hate all couples everywhere.

By the way blog friends if you want to know anything at all about my life, where i live, what fagss i smoke, what i do on a weekend, what music is floating my boat at the minute, what my ex looked like, why I like to think im a G after two beers....then ask away! I am in a sharing mood and also very bored :D.

this and that and you and me

My bare bum is starting to become a fixture around these parts (if you think this blog is bad you should see my facebook- bums everywhere!) I had the best best best weekend in Newcastle this weekend. I went to see the incredible General Levy (wicked wicked jungle is MASSIVEEE!) and went to awesome house party with live musics courtesy of some friends. My friend Loic simultaneously played his saxophone and poured wine into my mouth at the same time.

The coach back from newcastle to leeds was not fun, I hadnt slept a wink all night and i was concentrating very hard on not dying the whole way back. Coach with a comedown is not fun.

I have thrown myself into my uni work and revision to try and get over this break up but it's not really working and I still feel sick and sad. It seems closure is a hard thing to come by, especially when everything seems to remind me of him- I have two scars on my knees from a night we got drunk and i ran into a door, I have yogurt stains on my wall from when we had a food fight, paintings we did, things we bought together, a snowball in my freezer. Im sorry for this wordy, sad post friends but i feel i have exhausted my friends ears with my crying and pining and the internet seems like a comfy, friendly place at the minute.

worst weeks

This past week has been absolutely horrendous internet pals for reasons i shall now disclose, my now ex boyfriend broke up with me on valentines day, i have the flue and ive just returned from a largely unsuccessful trip to the library where i spent all day finishing off 2000 words of my 5000 anatomy report and then my computer had a melt down and i lost everything.

Please tell me happy things internet buddies because im snotty and sad and have run out of toilet paper and just then had to blow my nose on a bit of tissue i found in the bin.

(said camera also involved rather naked pictures of me which will remain unseen O_O) My boyfriend is in Nottigham at the minute and i feel like his fat gross girlfriend sat in my flat eating cookies, watching midsomer murders and waiting for him to come home with mcdonalds for me. Although i may pull myself together and put on real clothes and steal the bottle of wine which was intended for us to drink together and drink it with my pal hannah instead.

My exams are finally finished (hurrahhh!) but my lectures start again on monday, darn my hard, hard course. On a happier note, yesterday we trecked to town to sign our contract for our house next year! It is a dream house and fits all 8 of us comfortably. We are planning on christening it with a dolly parton party, she is our goddess.


Right now i must dash as i have wine to drink, cigarettes to smoke and parties to attend! Ohh and an angry boyfriend who has been waiting for me to get ready for the last hour.

According to my boyfriend I am the worst sleeper to sleep next to, apparently I sleep in a curve, steal all the covers, sleep talk and snore >_<. He says i'm like a snoring fetus hehe.

welcome to the bum show

Hello fellow internet buddies (if i have any left) I apologise wholeheartedly for being a lazy commenter on your blogs and all in all being an absolute turd of a blogger. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! How is everyone ringing in the new year? With a wine box, good pals and dancing i hope!

Since returning back home to sunny (not) manchester I've been celebrating multiple friends birthday's and suffering from the worst hangovers, it seems i can't down the booze like i used to as a youngun' anymore. Please fill me in on your life adventures in my comment/conversation box and help distract me from revision and feel free to ask me any questions you like!

blanket weather

New photographic experiments. I'm sorry things are so quiet around here at the minute folks! I've been busy revising for examsexamsexamsexams and dealing with water infections (thanks for that one vagina)

Alas the chilly season is upon us and all I want to do is hide under a blanket and eat mash but this is sadly not possible. I hope you are all well and staying cosy and well fed in this wet and windy weather!

Hello friends it's been too long! Please fill me in on your life happenings in the comment sections! The reason for my long absence from blogging is that my laptop has broken. I never realised how hard the real world can be without a laptop buddy to watch doctor who and downton abbey on :(

I have settled in well (perhaps a little too well) into university life and it has given me a great many laughs and funny stories (which one do you want to hear the tale of the broken tooth, broken laptop, the robbery of the grit box, me and my pals being chased by our uni accommodation security, the night with the vodka- i will stop hear lest you think bad of me). My work load is dire however and just writing about it now is giving me nervous tummy rumbles :( i wish my course wasn't so intense (though that's not to say i am not enjoying it), my poor melted brain cannot handle all this stress and sometimes decides eating cheese in the corner of the kitchen alone is a better way to spend my time than reading about the anatomy and physiology of the body. Naughty brain.

Some more from Scootland. I haven't had the time to develop my film photos so i apologise this post includes my face and not the glorious scottish landscape as previously promised.

I started my first day of school (well university) yesterday after two gap years (grandma fresher). It has been fun so far although the revelry may end shortly as we got our timetables today and it is pretty intense (those A* A-levels havent kicked in yet. Darrn). I don't know whether any of the people here are 'kindred spirits' yet but only time may tell!

Posts may be few and far between for a while but i am currently cooking up a post to show you how to make your own cleanser :D. I'm not too good at 'tutorial' posts though, somewhere on this blog there is a post in which i badly explain how to make candles >_< feel free to find it and giggle over my shoddy efforts!
