run into flowers

Hello friends it's been too long! Please fill me in on your life happenings in the comment sections! The reason for my long absence from blogging is that my laptop has broken. I never realised how hard the real world can be without a laptop buddy to watch doctor who and downton abbey on :(

I have settled in well (perhaps a little too well) into university life and it has given me a great many laughs and funny stories (which one do you want to hear the tale of the broken tooth, broken laptop, the robbery of the grit box, me and my pals being chased by our uni accommodation security, the night with the vodka- i will stop hear lest you think bad of me). My work load is dire however and just writing about it now is giving me nervous tummy rumbles :( i wish my course wasn't so intense (though that's not to say i am not enjoying it), my poor melted brain cannot handle all this stress and sometimes decides eating cheese in the corner of the kitchen alone is a better way to spend my time than reading about the anatomy and physiology of the body. Naughty brain.

  1. Aw I've missed you <3 <3 Laptop breaking is very crap indeed, I hate how technology can be such a big let down!!
I'd quite like to hear about the night with the vodka, sounds like the title of a Friends episode (The One with The Vodka). Hmm, anyway glad you're all settled back into uni life, I'm in my same little rut as always I do believe. xxx

  3. oh HI!!!!!! It's SO good to see you!
I hate uni stress, I for one do not thrive on the stress created by having multiple hand in's on the same day and like 20 novels to read in 12 weeks. I am a thorough planner. I have to make plans and stick to them or I think I might crumble to the dust/burrow myself into the filthy bar under my duvet much like in that episode of black books where there is the tiny bar under the table that Bernard Black escapes too. Except I would never return. BUT anyway, everything always ends out fantastic and turns out I needn't have stressed about anything. So, basically, what I'm trying to say is, don't bother stressing out. It's not worth it in the end (unless you thrive on it?).
I've been busy having a life altering two months. It's been pretty great! not to mention that I handed in my final essay of my degree on Friday.
Anyway! it's fab to see you out and about! You've been missed!

    1. OHH HAIIIII!! How art thou?

Ughhh i am not a fan of stress either, i am too lazy and laidback for stress and i cannot cope with it. My stress dealing tactics mostly involve crying, cheese and wine. I love making plans! I make a plan to make a plan hehe. Aww Black Books <3 <3 i miss watching tv soo much all i've been doing is watching beauty and the beast in tiny clips on my phone from youtube which sucks balls (actually the bit with the dancing cutlery is pretty darn good. Why dont my teapots do that?)

Ahh last essay is so exciting pal!!!! How was the life altering two months? I demand to see it documented in picture form on your blog! Righttt i must skiddaddle! Have a great weeeeeek <3 <3 xxxxx

    2. why am I so terrible at replying? WHY!? I officially have no excuses! I finished uni forever on thursday! wholly smokes! Now I can concentrate on not concentrating for a couple months.

Hows it all going? Is it still intense? But your kind of just used to being a hermit?

Life altering months aren't worth blogging about?/ I don't have any pictures of me getting fixed! I basically had chronic pain and finally went and tried acupuncture for it and it has been amazing! AMAZING! I can go over two weeks without taking painkillers, while before I was taking them like every 2 days or so. Pretty crazy stuff!

Now I must continue to cuddle the cat. And maybe watch Gossip Girl HAH! Yay. <3

  4. Well even with bad lighting you look cute. My work isn't too intense so I'm able to keep at it quite well, and I'm studying at home so I'm missing out on such great things as being chased by security. But I'm sure you have plenty of fun tales for us :)

  5. It's so nice to see a new post from you, and your gracing us with beautiful photos! I have been in a similar rut, as I have exams at the moment. I do the exact same thing, eating cheese in the corner of the kitchen. But lately I have taken to trying to perfect cake In a mug...

  6. Eeep I'm glad you've settled in to university life, all those stories sound classic university, a broken laptop is never cool, ever. I hope you're getting through the work load ok, no one likes that side of uni! I've moved and am trying to settle in, which is always a bit of struggle for someone who hates change... xxx

    1. Haha even before going to uni i had sooo many stoopid stories >_< it's funny cos im quite a bit older than most of the people at my uni (grandma fresher whooo) everyone expects me to be responsible and grown up which is soo not the case hehe.

Aww have you moved house? That's so exciting! Change has its good sides though! Eeepp let me know how it goessss <3 <3 <3 xxx
